Mid-spring, the leaping cat is captured with one strong paw lifted in the air, seemingly ready to strike. The animal, which is 76 x 50 mm and weighs an impressive 43 grams, has all of its muscles and sinews sculpted into a solid block of real 925 sterling silver. This three-dimensional sculpture, in contrast to a static insignia, feels alive, drawing the eye from across the room with its dynamic outlook.
