GRA Moissanite Certificate
Each Phoenix Rare moissanite has a GRA (Gemological Research Association) validation. Consider it the official ID card for your stone, attesting to its quality and authenticity.
We don't pretend that GRA is GIA. However, a GRA certificate provides a trustworthy overview of what you're obtaining for moissanite buyers, including carat weight, cut grade, clarity, and color. Every certificate has a distinct laser-inscribed number on the girdle of the stone, allowing you to confirm that your piece corresponds with the documentation.
What does the GRA Certificate include?
The GRA certificate is like a report card for your stones. You get the following information on there:
- Stone type – confirmed as moissanite
- Carat weight – precise measurement of your stone
- Cut grade – how well the stone reflects light
- Clarity – VVS classification (virtually flawless)
- Color grade – D‑E range (colorless to near‑colorless)
- Unique certificate number – laser‑inscribed on the stone for verification
- Hardness rating – 9.25 on the Mohs scale (second only to diamond)
To verify the details of your stone, you can search the GRA website for the certificate number. You can be sure that your moissanite is precisely what we claim it is because each certificate is registered and numbered.
